No more missed seams, small cracks, pinholes, and rough coats. Each horse is meticulously tended to during daylight hours, when the lighting is best. Once horse is entirely clean, we prep the base with cleanser, let air dry for twenty-four hours, then apply fine layer upon fine layer of quality primer for a beautiful canvas for you to begin your work! Lastly, we are about quality, not quantity. Our services are only available for a limited number of resin horses, to maximize the quality of the prep job as well as expedite the finished product back to the artist. I have been both actively and passively involved in the model horse hobby for going on twenty-seven years. As a youngster, I showed and collected under the guidance of Marney J. Walerius-to many, a founding hobbyist. Throughout my teenage years, I became actively involved in the Great Lakes Congress, now one of the largest model horse organizations around. I served as a board member, an officer, and a mentor for younger collectors. Eventually I turned to judging and judged many live shows for several years, including being invited to judge for NAMHSA. During this time, I became an avid tack-maker and ran the successful Sienna Braiding Company. My involvement with real horses took me away from the hobby as financially it was impossible to do both. Now I enjoy the simple collecting of beautiful resin horses brought to life by amazing artists such as yourself!
